In San Francisco, it costs anywhere from $10-$17 dollars per person to see a movie at the movie theater. Crazy, I know! So I was pleasantly surprised to find out that movies cost between $32-$50 pesos per person here in Puerto Vallarta - Yes, that means less than $5 US dollars!. AND most of the movies are in English with Spanish subtitles, so if you're not a fluent Spanish-speaker yet, no worries!
Wednesdays are the cheapest, and obviously my favorite, days to see a movie at any of the three movie theaters:
Cinépolis (the cheapest Wednesdays)
Cinemark @ Plaza Caracoal
MMCinemas @ the mall near Walmart
